Nelson Foodies: toffee

This blog is a place where we can swap recipes and have a go-to resource for some recipes that we know will be delicious. Please add whatever you would like! You can copy a recipe you found on pinterest, allrecipes etc. {As long as it's tasty!} Add some labels to it, which can be done on the side when you are writing your post. English Toffee

1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 lb butter
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
3 chocolate bars

Heat sugar, butter and tartar on medium heat until brown streaks - 8-10 minutes. Pour on buttered cookie sheet. Put chocolate on top.
